Worried

Fried brain
Tired heart
Come look at the night
The gentle sizzle of nerves
you felt as you dipped your face
Into the cool puddle
of purple blue indigo
Your worries lines dripped off

Again you submerge your face into the window
And your eyes search for a bright moon
But a bright moon isn't what we are here for.
Just feel the calmness,
Feel calm.
The sky Dotted faintly with ear stud stars
Tell you to Rest,
all planets,
even the ones we can't see,
are in His grip.

The House of God

O' God 🕋
Let me revolve around your holiest bricks, silkyest black and golden belt
Let me shed all my untrue layers  with every turn, every push and every step
Bankrupt but rich; let me come as a multi-worshipper and leave in the pocket of my heart the One Self.
Thirsty but quenched; let me come with Gallons of hope to drink tomorrow,
and leave with a cusp of zamzam
Let me come rested and well,
and leave sore and restless
Invite me
You are a generous Host
and i am your needy guest

A friendship that could last two lifetimes

Every understanding,
every opening,
Every meaning
unfolding,
I owe to my Friend.

Every spiritual diagnosis,
Every inch i inch near gnosis,
Every fog wiped into focus,
I owe to my Friend.

Every mystery solved,
Every obstacle dissolved,
Every tawbah and resolve,
I owe to my Friend.

Every divine word I speak,
Every wird I repeat,
Every holy verse I read,
I owe to my Friend.

I have a friend!
I have a friend!

whole again

It pains me to see us split

the deep sea
had to be split by the staff,

the silver moon
had to crack in half,

without sea parting waves
we would have lost our Way

without the break of our endless cycle,
we would have lived in constant rival

Yes, it pains me to see us split
But we must

To live whole again.
